Wallace Twins Are Sold On Cowboys Class

Brothers Tracin and Tylan Wallace (pictured above) are looking forward to playing with other members of the Oklahoma State recruiting class, many of whom they met this weekend on their official visits.

Throughout the recruiting of the 2017 class at Oklahoma State two figures have kind of stood out, at least in the communication between all the committed Cowboys on social media like Twitter. Twin brothers Tracin Wallace and Tylan Wallace out of Fort Worth and South Hills High School pledged early to the Cowboys and wide receivers coach Kasey Dunn.

The Wallace brothers have been among the most vocal and exuberant commitments on social media and have been proactive in contacting other Cowboy recruits and commitments.

It was a unique high school season with Tracin, the quarterback of the twins, suffering a second ACL injury and surgery in week two, while Tylan had another strong season with 56 receptions for 932 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also rushed 16 times for 165 yards and three touchdowns and even returned an interception 60 yards for a score.

Tylan earned Under Armour All-American honors and played in the game in Florida. Still both stayed active in communicating with the class.

On their way home from the official visit weekend in Stillwater, Tracin's phone went to voice mail, but Tylan answered.

"Yes, Tracin is asleep. But no, you didn't wake me up," Tylan Wallace said. "It was good, really good. The food was great all weekend and J.D. (King) is right, Coach Gundy's house is amazing.

"It was something we needed (the visit weekend)," the 6-0, 178-pound receiver added. "We had been communicating on Twitter and we actually needed to meet each other, to be there face to face and get to know everybody."

You could tell by his voice that Tylan was tired. A recruiting weekend and then a couple of hours in the car going down I-35 will do that to you. He did add that he agreed with Chuba Hubbard and his thought on the class having a lot of talent.

"There's no doubt, this class is really good and I think our class will have a lot of success and help this team while we're here. I'm impressed with all the guys," Wallace added.

Finally, he said his mom, Mandi Moore, had a good time. "She loved it and she had a lot to do," Wallace concluded.
