Oklahoma State Junior Day Is Saturday

Oklahoma State will be hosting prospects from Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas for Junior Day on Saturday.

The last couple of weeks on the road recruiting have seen the Oklahoma State and many of the coaching staffs across the country looking at a lot of 2018 and 2019 recruiting candidates. That includes getting the word out about coming to campus and seeing what Oklahoma State is all about. Some juniors, and perhaps some sophomores will do that on Saturday.

We don't know how many younger prospects will be on campus to check out the football facilities, hear from and meet the OSU coaching staff, and see the Big 12/SEC Challenge Basketball game between the Cowboys and Arkansas Razorbacks but we know of several.

One of our subscribers heard from the family of Manvel High School linebacker Brian Johnson (6-1, 180), who is a "star" linebacker prospect, and he is planning to be there. We made some calls and found out some other Texans planning to attend include Rockwall linebacker Blake Barron, Atascocita cornerback Travian Blaylock, Bryan offensive lineman  Ylijaah Hall (6-5, 270), and Rockwall (Heath) running back Desmon Williams.

As you might expect, there are a lot of Oklahoma prospects that will be in Stillwater and some we confirmed included a sophomore that is the younger brother of Cowboys freshman All-American running back Justice Hill as Daxton Hill (6-1, 170) is on the list and reportedly has been offered by the Cowboys for the 2019 class.

Juniors we checked on that are attending include Tuttle offensive lineman Hunter Anthony (6-7, 310), Millwood offensive /defensive lineman Israel Antwine (6-5, 275), Bixby offensive lineman Bryce Bay (6-5, 290), Southmoore safety Doug Collins (5-11, 180), Owasso safety and a confirmed offer from the Cowboys in Wayne Jones (6-1, 190, pictured above), Jones wide receiver Sean Shaw, and Tulsa Union wide receiver Adrian Wilson.

Also attending from the state of Arkansas is premier linebacker prospect Oliver Nasilai (6-2, 240) of Har-Ber High School.

We will be at the OSU-Arkansas basketball game and will be checking to see if we can identify any other juniors in attendance and roughly how many prospects the Cowboys had in for the Junior Day.
