Twas The Night Before Signing Day ...

Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy is looking forward to National Signing Day.

Over the last 18 hours or so I have been lining up our usual interviews for Triple Play Sports Radio and it also serves as a way of touching base and making sure everybody is on point and ready to sign the National Letter of Intent with the Oklahoma State logo on it Wednesday morning.

All of the players I spoke to will be signing early in the morning and then have various ceremonies they are involved in throughout the day. Lakeview Centennial wide receiver LC Greenwood, Denton Guyer safety Thabo Mwaniki, and twins Tracin Wallace and Tylan Wallace from Fort Worth South Hills are players that I know have three signings – the real one early, a district signing with the players from all the schools in their district, and then their school signings. In between they are usually heading out with family and friends for breakfast, lunch or both to celebrate.

In stark contrast, I asked Chuba Hubbard (pictured above) how many players at Bev Facey School outside of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada were signing and he said he was the only one. He has a ceremony at the school at 11 a.m. (Mountain time).

Everybody seems ready and set to go, which is good. Even the newest commit in Wynnewood tight end/defensive end Baron Odom has a ceremony around noon.

I don't expect any more additions to the class list before signing day tomorrow. I do think there will be some additions, likely transfers coming later, as Oklahoma State will have some scholarships available.

For those that can listen or can get the app for your iPhone of Android device (Triple Play Sports Radio - It is FREE), here is our schedule of guests for tomorrow.
