Briefly: He transfers from Minnesota with two seasons remaining and a red-shirt season. He will have to sit out the 2017 season and that will serve as his red-shirt season.
2016 Season (Soph.): Moore started all 12 regular season games for Minnesota at center. Sat out the Holiday Bowl vs. Washington State with a back injury. He helped a team that finished 9-4 overall including a bowl win, 8-4 in the regular season, and 5-4 in Big 10 play. Minnesota’s offense averaged 29.3 points per game, 357.2 yards per game of total offense (5.2 per play), 173.6 yards per game passing, 183.6 yards per game passing (4.3 per carry). He was part of an offensive line that only allowed 16 sacks for 95 yards in losses.
2015 Season (Fr.): Moore started the last eight games of the season as a true freshman at center, including a 21-14 victory over Central Michigan in the Quick Lane Bowl. He was the first-ever true freshman to start for then Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill. He made his collegiate debut at Purdue in a game Minnesota won 41-13. The Gophers finished the season 6-7 overall, 5-7 in the regular season, 2-6 in the Big 10. The offense averaged 22.5 points per game, 358.9 yards of total offense per game (5.3 per play), 214.8 yards per game passing, 144.1 yards per game rushing (4.2 per play).
High School: Three-year starter, Finalist for the Houston Touchdown Club of Houston Offensive Player of the Year as a senior, 1st-team All-District 21-6A, 3-star recruit with Scout, Ranked #9 as a center by Scout, Also participated in track and field.
