Briefly: A blue-collar defensive tackle that understands how to get off blocks and makes a lot of plays for an inside defensive line defender. Another plus is that he’s been nothing but a champion in high school with two Class 6A-II titles and a Class 5A championship.

High School: Played for three straight state championship teams at Bixby. His senior season the Spartans went 10-3 and he finished the season with 45 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, nine sacks, four fumbles caused, and a blocked field goal. He was named 1st Team All-State by The Oklahoman and 1st-Team Class 6A All-State by the Oklahoma Coaches Association. Evers was named 2nd-Team All-State by The Tulsa World. He was also 1st-Team All-6A-II District 2. He was a three-star prospect with Scout and the number-one defensive tackle prospect in Oklahoma. Evers was named to the Mr. Football Award-Vype Top 100 in Oklahoma. His junior season he had 72 tackles, 23.5 tackles for loss, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. As a sophomore, he had 17 tackles, eight tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks. He has also participated in baseball, wrestling, and track at Bixby.
