Briefly: NEO A&M J.C. head coach Clay Patterson and defensive coordinator and assistant head coach Zach Allen both felt he was the best overall football athlete in the state. He played both ways successfully and on offense at quarterback and he is a winner as he is part of three-straight state championships at Wagoner.

High School: Playing both sides of the ball, he had a tremendous impact on Wagoner winning three straight Class 4A state championships. The Bulldogs did not lose a game his senior and junior seasons. He was 1st-Team All-State (safety) by The Oklahoman, The Tulsa World, and the Oklahoma Coaches Association. He was Most Valuable Player and 1st-Team All-District 4A-3. Scout ranked him as a three-star recruit and Vype selected him to the Mr. Football Award-Vype Top 100. As a senior, he completed 115-of-172 passing for 1,976 yards and 22 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He ran 162 times for 1,691 yards and 22 touchdowns. On defense, he had 79 tackles, two interceptions and two fumbles recovered. His numbers by year are insane but add them all up and he finished high school with 6,144 yards passing, 2.449 yards rushing, 115 touchdowns accounted for, 238 tackles, and seven interceptions. He was an individual state champion wrestler as a junior and is wrestling again as a senior. He had a 30-3 record as a junior. He is also a baseball prospect for the MLB Draft as shortstop. This spring he will also run track doing long jump and sprints and relays.
