Jake McClure kicked a 56-yard field goal this past season as a high school senior and averaged right around 46 yards per punt.

Briefly: He has a big leg and proved himself as an accurate kicker this past season. He has good size as well. Former Tennessee and NFL standout J.J. McCleskey had him in the Blue-Gray High School All-Star Game and said he is NFL strong in the leg right now and that he was hitting 60-yard field goals in practice. In the game he punted for a 55-yard average.

High School: Trained at Kohls Kicking, McClure was named 1st-Team All-State Class 4A by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association and was named All-Region. He is a three-star prospect by Scout. His senior season he went 12-of-14 on field goals and had a long field goal of 56 yards. He averaged roughly 46 yards per punt as a senior. He also averaged 55 yards a punt playing the Blue-Gray High School All-Star Game at AT&T Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. As a junior, he went 4-for-8 on field goals and hit 63-of-65 extra points and averaged 42 yards on punts. He also played soccer and tennis in high school.
