Briefly: King has all the tools as he is fast, quick when he needs to be. He can run inside the tackles with power, outside with good vision and an eye for open spaces. He is also a good receiver and proved that time and again this season including in the Georgia Class 2A state championship game he played in.

High School: As a senior, King led his team to a 13-2 finish and a state championship appearance in the Georgia Dome. Scout ranked him as a three-star prospect with a 26th-best ranking as a running back prospect in the nation. He is ranked as the third-best running back prospect in Georgia. King was named 1st-Team Class 2A All-State by The Atlanta Journal Constitution. He rushed for 1,798 yards and 21 touchdowns, but he was also good at catching the ball out of the backfield with 549 yards receiving and nine touchdowns. His junior season he was the state’s leading rusher and earned 2015 Offensive Player of the Year and 1st-Team Class 2A All-State from the AJC and was also on the Super 11. He rushed for 2,432 yards and 33 touchdowns on 341 carries. As a sophomore, he carried 214 times for 1,559 yards and 15 touchdowns. His career total is 6,289 yards.
