Briefly: A dual-threat quarterback that played in an offense in high school similar to Oklahoma State and he led his high school to the Class 3A state championship his senior season and a record of 13-2.

High School: Named the Montlick and Associates Region 5 Athlete of the Year, Atlanta Journal Constitution Honorable Mention All-State, Atlanta Journal-Constitution All-Region Team, 1st-Team All-Region 5 Class 3A, Scout lists him as a 3-star prospect and the No. 41 dual threat quarterback prospect in the country. In the state championship game he was 12-of-18 for 144 yards and two touchdowns. As a junior, he completed 62 percent of his passes for 1,992 yards and 20 touchdowns with just six interceptions as Cedar Grove finished 11-2-1 and in the semifinals. As a sophomore, he completed 66.7 percent of his passes for 1,489 yards with 16 touchdowns as Cedar Grove advanced to the second round of the playoffs. Also a basketball player that earned honorable mention All-State honors from the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
