One of the top tight end prospects in the country will be making his way to Stillwater on Saturday for an unofficial visit and so will his talented linebacker teammate. Mustapha Muhammad from Missouri City (Ridge Point), Texas is 6-5, 235 pounds and very athletic as well as very wanted by Division I football schools.
Muhammad will be joined on the visit to Stillwater by Ridge Point inside linebacker prospect Chad Bailey. The two are expected to meet with coaches, get a tour of the West End Zone and facilities and then catch the Oklahoma State basketball contest at 3 p.m. with Texas in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Neither Muhammad nor Bailey made it the Cowboys Junior Day on Jan. 28 as Muhammad was attending the Junior Day at Clemson that Saturday.
Muhammad caught 29 passes last season for 436 yards and four touchdowns. He had 19 receptions as a sophomore for 328 yards and five touchdowns. His offer list is crazy with Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Colorado, Florida State, Florida, Georgia, Houston, Mississippi, Michigan, Mississippi State, Missouri, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, TCU, Tennessee, Texas, UCLA, USC, and Wisconsin.
Bailey has excellent numbers with 99 tackles last season, 20 tackles for loss, five sacks, three fumbles caused, two fumbles recovered and one returned for a touchdown, and two interceptions. His sophomore season he had 122 tackles with 19 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks.
Bailey has offers from Colorado, Houston, Indiana, Missouri, Mississippi, and SMU.
