Bray Visits Friday; Trio Expected Saturday

Bryce Bray from Bixby High School visited Oklahoma State on Friday, and a trio of Houston-area athletes are expected on campus Saturday.

Bixby offensive tackle Bryce Bray was shown on Twitter earlier this week posing with teammates modeling the latest championship rings earned by the Bixby Spartans as Class 6A-II state champions for the third straight season. The 6-5, 300-pound Bray had a lot to do with it as he progressively got better and more dominant throughout his junior season, and I believe will develop into a strong prospect in Oklahoma for the 2018 class.

Today, Bray and his parents stopped in Stillwater to meet new Cowboys offensive line coach Josh Henson. No word on how that meeting went. Henson is looking to recruit a large class of high school offensive linemen to Stillwater in the 2018 class. Fortunately, Bray is one of quite a few solid offensive line candidates in Oklahoma for the 2018 class.

Oklahoma State could see as many as three prospects looking around the West End Zone and checking out the campus on Saturday. All three expected hail from the Houston area. Houston (Heights) cornerback prospect Jalen Green, Manvel cornerback prospect Trent Gordon, and Katy defensive tackle Moro Ojomo

Green is 6-1, 171 pounds and already has hit some high notes as he earned an invitation to Nike's The Opening earlier in February during The Opening Regional in the Houston area. Green finished this season with 19 tackles, two tackles for loss, and an interceptions despite opposing offenses avoiding his side like the plague. He also played some quarterback, completing 4 of 10 passes for 68 yards and a touchdown and rushing 17 times for 42 yards and another score.

Check this list of offers out as Oklahoma State is joined by Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Baylor, Bowling Green, Clemson, Colorado, Florida, Fresno, Georgia, Houston, Illinois, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, North Texas, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Oregon State, Penn State, SMU, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Tulsa, USC, and Virginia Tech.

Trent Gordon is a 5-11, 172-pound cornerback who last season had 81 tackles, four tackles for loss, and a sack with a fumble caused, a fumble recovered, and two interceptions. Gordon has a number of offers including California, Colorado, Dartmouth, Duke, Houston, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Michigan, Minnesota, Northwestern, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, TCU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, UCLA, and Vanderbilt.

Ojoma is a 6-2, 255-pound defensive tackle with offers from Oklahoma State, SMU, TCU, and Texas State.
