Tisdale is a definite "alpha male" personality with natural leadership ability and it came across immediately and then in the drills at The Ford Cnter at The Star in Frisco he was acting like a younger 2019 quarterback prospect as Tisdale was going to the head of the line when he could. he was soaking up instructions and doing things right from the beginning and getting plenty of "attaboys" from the Nike coaches and staff.
Tisdale tested well, really well, at Nike's The Opening Regional with a 4.7 in the forty, a 4.18 in the 5-10-5 shuttle, and a 35.6 vertical jump. The young quarterback from Allen is going to give the Eagles something this fall as he takes over as the starting signal caller. Last season he completed 34-of-55 passing for 522-yards and six touchdown to two interceptions. He has drawn offers from Indiana State, Mississippi State, SMU, and Texas Tech, but the 6-1, 204 pound quarterback can expect many more including Oklahoma State.
"Yes, I talked to Coach (Mike) Yurcich and I think he's a good coach and I like their offense," Tisdale told me. "That offense matches up with me well. Did you know my mom is an Oklahoma State graduate. She went to OSU, so that is exciting."
And Tisdale is exciting, really exciting! I felt he stood out among a group of really talented younger quarterbacks at the 2017 Nike The Opening Regional. Oklahoma State has their eye on him and he has his eye on the Cowboys.
