Larry Joubert Signs with Cowboys

Joubert is 6-4, 290 and started at right tackle as a freshman and then moved to left tackle as a sophomore.

We realize it is not signing day for either junior college mid-year transfers or the primary signing day for college football but in Miami, Okla., this morning Oklahoma State added an offensive lineman in NEO A&M Junior College two-year starter Larry Joubert.

Joubert is 6-4, 290 and started at right tackle as a freshman and then moved to left tackle as a sophomore. The former Oklahoma City Douglass player, who has a father that coaches at Douglass, had signed last December to transfer at mid-year to New Mexico had a class he did not complete and that allowed him to take advantage of a second chance to play closer to home.

According to sources, Joubert spoke with new offensive line coach Josh Henson and is excited about heading to OSU. The NCAA financial aid agreement that Joubert signs binds Oklahoma State but not Joubert, but there is no reason to worry as he is Cowboy bound.
