A group of 15 Allen High School Eagles were in Stillwater on Saturday for unofficial visits on the Allen College Recruiting Tour.
You can check Elton Endoma-Ogar's Twitter account (@econo60) or any of the players listed below but a large group of players from powerhouse Allen High School in Allen, Texas were on the move today with their college tour. At least 13 of the Eagles players, some 2018 class members and some in the class of 2019 visited Tulsa early on Saturday and then moved over to Stillwater for several hours at Oklahoma State. We don't believe that OU commitment THeo Wease, a receiver in the class of 2019 was with them, but most of the other standouts in the next two recruiting classes from the perennial power were on the tour including a quarterback in the class of 2019 that we saw and were impressed with at Nike's The Opening Regional in Frisco back in March in Grant Tisdale. The 6-1, 204 pound Tisdale told us he had already formed a relationship with Oklahoma State offensive coordinator and quarterback coach Mike Yurcich and that his mother was an Oklahoma State alum.
Tisdale, who completed 34-of-55 passes last season as a sophomore for 522-yards with six touchdowns and just two interceptions, is a good passer but also a talented runner as he carried 43 times for 185-yards and three touchdowns. This season he is projected to move into the starting role. He has offers from Iowa State, Mississippi State, SMU, and Texas Tech.
Other 2019 prospects that were among the Allen tour included defensive tackle E.J. Ndoma-Ogar, cornerback Devyn Butler, defensive tackle Jayden Jernigan, and defensive end Deondre Davis.
Davis is 6-2, 220 pounds. Jernigan is 6-1, 270 pounds with offers from Iowa State, SMU, and Texas Tech. Ndoma-Ogar is 6-3, 305 pounds and has a bunch of offers including Oklahoma State, BYU, Baylor, Duke, Illinois, Iowa State, Nevada, SMU, TCU, Texas State, Texas Tech, and Wake Forest. Butler is a 5-10, 175 pound cornerback.
In the upcoming senior class, the class of 2018 the Allen tour included offensive lineman Trey Stratford, who has an Oklahoma State offer; running back Brock Sturges; and wide receiver Carson Schleker.
Stratford is 6-4, 270 pounds and besides Oklahoma State has offers from Baylor, California, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Mississippi, Purdue, Rice, SMU, TCU, Texas, UCLA, and Utah.
Sturges has around 10 scholarship offers including Boise State, Indiana, SMU, and Central Florida. He is 5-10 and 198 pounds.
Schleker is 5-8, 167 pounds and also has around 10 scholarship offers including Illinois, Iowa State, Kansas, Minnesota, SMU, Tulsa, and Washington State.
