Bedlam Baseball in Tulsa Rained Out

Game one of Bedlam baseball was rained out in Tulsa and the two teams hope to make it up in Oklahoma City.

The Bedlam baseball game scheduled for Tulsa's ONEOK Park on Thursday night, the first game in the three game Bedlam series was delayed and then rained out. The two teams will now move down the turnpike to Oklahoma City and play the three games at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The two teams are scheduled for a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday night is a single game scheduled for 7 p.m.

Oklahoma State enters the Bedlam series with a record of 24-25, 6-14 in the Big 12. The Cowboys are sitting just a half-game ahead of Kansas State for the final position in the upcoming Big 12 Baseball Championship, which is also scheduled for the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. That lead for Oklahoma State may increase. After scoring 12 runs in one inning, a Big 12 record for most runs in an inning, Kansas State was up early on Baylor, but by the sixth inning Baylor had caught up and passed the Wildcats. At the time this was written Baylor led 15-12.

Any combination of three this weekend, Cowboy wins and Kansas State losses, would add up to Oklahoma State joining the seven teams ahead of them in the standing in Oklahoma City for the Big 12 Tournament.
