Michael Fly to Stay at Florida Gulf Coast

Michael Fly has accepted a raise to stay at Florida Gulf Coast.

It’s back to the drawing board for Coach Boynton as the search continues for the fifth assistant. Earlier this week, it was reported that Florida Gulf Coast assistant, Michael Fly, would be joining Mike Boynton’s staff for the upcoming 2017 season. As of today, that’s no longer the case. As reported by John Helsley, Fly has accepted a raise to stay in the Sunshine state.

Boynton also hired longtime OSU administrator Lance Troester as the program's assistant athletic director for men's basketball. He will handle the day-to-day operations of the program, including team travel and scheduling.
