Luke Tiemann, a 6-foot-2-inch, 199-pound linebacker from
Tiemann said that he is anxious to see what his football future holds, but right now his priority is helping the Pflugerville squad to reach the state playoffs.
"We lost a game in overtime, but other than that, we are doing really well," Tiemann said. "Personally, I am making improvements on the things that I wanted to, so that is good. As a team we are doing pretty well though."
"They are getting film from my high school coach, and the coach called me the other day, but I missed his call," Tiemann said. "I am not sure which coach it was, but I hope to get to talk to him soon."
"Wisconsin for sure, I am really impressed with their program, I really like the coaches that I have talked to and they have a great program there," he said. "They are at the top of the list right now, but the rest of the schools are all pretty much up in the air because they have to see my tape first."
Tiemann said while he is really impressed with the Badger program, he hopes some of the other schools step up soon and offer.
"I seriously will look at any school that shows interest in me – I will
give all of them consideration before I decide my final five. I really like
It may sound like Tiemann is leaning toward being Badger-bound, but the high school senior said anything can happen between now and signing day.
"I pretty much want to wait and see how the interest is with all the
other schools, first. If they watch my tape and show some interest, then I will
hold off for sure. I am not going to make a decision until I am sure that
everyone who wants to offer has done so. Even if my trip to
Tiemann said he wants to major in business or communications at the school he chooses.
