Recruiting Status Report

First, we have been contacting most of the Oklahoma State committed players. In fact, have contactd virually all of them in working up profiles for the upcoming issue and that will debut this weekend on the website.

So far the only previous commitment that we have found that has changed is Bastrop, La., wide receiver Ivory Bradshaw that de-committed and committed to Southern Miss. OSU assistant Todd Monken is reportedly working on convincing Bradshaw to sick to his original commitment.

We know that Dallas Lake Highlands defensive tackle Franklin Okam left Stillwater around noon today to fly back to Dallas after a midweek visit. We triend to reach him, but to no avail. He leaves for Stanford tomorrow. He is considering Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, Oklahoma State, and Stanford.

OSU head coach Les Miles was in the home of Fred Bledsoe, the top Arkansas prospect and defensive tackle. Bledsoe's mom confirmed the Miles visit, but Bledsoe had stepped out after Miles had left. His mother said he would be back, however, we have not been able to reach him. Bledsoe, who will announce at Little Rock Central High School on signing day is considering Arkansas, Oklahoma State, and Tennessee. It appears the Hogs and Cowboys may be ahead of the Vols.

DeMarrio Pressley, the top rated defensive tackle in the nation, out of Greensboro, NC, will welcome both FSU head coach Bobby Bowden and OSU defensive line coach Karl Dunbar in the home tomorrow. Pressley told us he has not decided, and he too will announce on signing day. He is considering North Carolina, OSU, and FSU.

Belton, Texas defensive end William Bell is down to OSU and TCU. A check by a prearranged phone call showed that the family is still discussing the two schools with no decision made yet.

NEO A&M J.C. defensive tackle Remi Ayodele is going home to visit his mom this weekend and he will announce on Sunday.
