BRANDON HUNERYAGER Owasso Defensive Tackle 6-3, 260, 4.8

After making a name for himself as a defensive end as a sophomore, Huneryager moved inside as a junior and excelled as a defensive tackle for the Rams. Now comes yet another challenge that will prove his versatility and make him a more attractive candidate to college coaches.

The agile 6-3, 260-pounder is expecting to see considerable time on the offensive line for Owasso as a senior.

"There's not really that big of a difference for me between the offensive and defensive lines," said Huneryager, who helped the Rams to an 8-3 mark last season. "But I like defense a lot more. There's just an adrenaline rush you don't get on offense."

The 17-year-old helped lead a vaunted Rams pass rush. Alongside teammates Mike Sheats, McCoy Campbell, Pat Easterling and Andrew Hutton, Huneryager and crew racked up over 20 sacks with each getting four or more. With the trend on the defensive line moving toward the more mobile, athletic player, Huneryager fits the mold.

"Yeah, I'd say I can move pretty well for my size," he said. "But I hope to get stronger and better before next season."
