We'll start at defensive end where OSU really likes what they see in Auston English out of Canadian, Texas. The 6-4, 220 pounder has been offered and Oklahoma State hopes he turns out to be as good as a lot of top players out of the Texas Panhandle, and, of course, that he ends up in Stillwater. They have also offered Marcus Burton out of Channelview, Garrett Fields out of Dallas Skyline, T.J. Minor of Houston Westside, and Cordero Moore out of Mesquite Horn. There are other prospects they are strong on and I really believe Russell Brorsen, just down the street at Stillwater High, is a tremendous prospect.
Linebacker is very easy. Oklahoma State has offered some top prospects out of the region, but likely won't get a yes from them. It doesn't matter because they have three of the best high school linebacker prospects in the country in Oklahoma. OSU has offered the trio of Curtis Loftin out of Kingfisher, Phillip Dillard out of Jenks, and Eric Preast out of Sulphur. The Cowboys are looking for two linebackers in the class, and the first two that decide to head to Stillwater will claim the spots.
