Recruiting Update: Russell Brorsen, DE, Stillwater

Russell Brorsen is a homegrown product in Stillwater that is now 6-4 and close to 240 pounds. The defensive end prospect said that Kansas is the only school that has offered at this time, but Oklahoma State and Texas A&M are coming on stronger and they are his two favorites.

"I had a good camp at Oklahoma State and talked to Coach Miles, and then half of my family went to Texas A&M. Those are the two schools I am most interested in at this point. I could get interested in other schools later. I also like Kansas."

Russell Brorsen has been to camp at Oklahoma State and with his Stillwater team to Tulsa, and he said he will go to a camp at Texas A&M in July. He is a very good prospect. I saw him in person once last season and then on tape in a game against Tulsa Union. Neither opponent was able to effectively block him. Union eventually just ran and threw the ball away from his side. He is a standout wrestler and uses those skills along with strength and quickness to get off blocks and make plays
