Recruiting Update: Marquis Hamilton

The top wide receiver prospect in the state of Oklahoma, Marquis Hamilton attended his third camp this past weekend in College Station, Texas trying to impress the Texas A&M coaches.

"I had a good camp, but the camp was kind of disorganized," said Hamilton. "I'm not sure how well they were able to get a look at me, but I'm not expecting them to recruit me very heavily."

Marquis Hamilton also is not expecting much interest from the Oklahoma Sooners after seeing the commitment of Malcolm Kelly. One program that he is hopeful to receive an offer from is the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

"I'm attending their camp on the 31st, and my coach told me he thinks they are going to offer me. I definitely would like an offer from them, and I'd say they'd be my favorite if they did offer. I wouldn't commit on the spot, but I would like to decide before the start of the season."

One program that Hamilton would like to view before making his decision is the Iowa State Cyclones, who have offered him along with Tulsa and Wyoming.

"Yeah, I'd like to get up to Ames to check them out before I make my decision. I've had any contact with them recently besides the letters they sent me, but it is a program that is worth taking a look at."
