Recruiting Update: Cowboys Add Another

It's funny in the Les Miles era how many multiple last names have been added to the team, the Woods brothers, several Jones, several Smiths, but now the Cowboys have two pledges in this upcoming recruiting class that go by T.J. The latest is defensive end T.J. Minor out of Houston Westside, who we learned committed to the Cowboys last week. Minor joins cornerback T.J. Bell out of DeSoto, Texas on the commitment list.

The latest T.J. is a 6-4, 240 pound defensive end with 4.9 speed, a player that could easily grow into a defensive tackle. T.J. Minor is a standout at Houston Westside and a teammate of Oklahoma State's top running back prospect R.J. Jackson.

"I just really like Oklahoma State," said Minor of his commitment. "They are an up and coming program. I was comfortable with the coaches, the players, and the facilities are really good. It's a school where things are happening."

On the prospects of having his teammate, Jackson, join him at OSU.

"I know R.J. likes OSU a lot, but I can't speak for him. I know I want him to come to OSU."

Minor is a very aggressive player that has exceptional strength and athletic ability for a lineman.
