No change with big Chris Hall, the 6-foot-5, 280-pound tackle out of Irving High School was trying to get over a tough loss from last weekend and found some joy on Saturday.
"We lost a barn burner, a tough one to Keller Fossil Ridge 35-34," said Hall of the Friday night loss. "We missed a field goal with seven seconds left that would have won it. It was a real touchdown race. We had 460 yards of offense and they had 490 yards."
Hall said he settled in on Saturday to watch Oklahoma State play UCLA.
"That O-State game was fun to watch," said Hall of OSU's 31-20 win. "They really ran the ball on those guys, and that's fun for an offensive lineman to watch."
Hall said he is trying to help the Cowboys' recruiting as much as he can.
"I want as many good players there as we can get," added Hall.
He also said he plans on being in Stillwater for the OSU-SMU and the Bedlam games. This week Hall and Irving take on Arlington Seguin.
