The banquet will celebrate the achievements of the 2003-04 Cowboy Basketball season, including the Big 12 Championship, a Big 12 Tournament title, as well as the appearance in the Final Four. Featured during the banquet will be individual award presentations and a preview of the upcoming season.
Fans wishing to attend the banquet have three options. Corporate tables, which will include priority seating with a Cowboy player, coach or alumnus, as well as program recognition and an autographed basketball signed by members of the 2004 Final Four squad, are available for $1,500 per table of eight.
Individual tickets are available for $35 to include dinner and the program. Persons who wish to just attend the program may purchase tickets for $5 to be seated on the concourse level of Gallagher-Iba Arena. The $5 ticket must be purchased in advance, and holders of those tickets will be allowed into the Arena beginning at 7:30 p.m.
There will be an alumni basketball game on Saturday at 1 p.m. inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. The game is open to the public. Doors will open at noon, and admission is free. Fans are encouraged and will be able to make donations to several non-profit organizations at the door, including United Way, Coaches vs. Cancer, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Stillwater.
Former Cowboys that are scheduled to appear at the game include: Tony Allen, Bryant Reeves, Corey Williams, Adrian Peterson, Byron Houston, Randy Rutherford, Joe Adkins, Bryndon Manzer, Victor Williams, Alex Webber, Scott Pierce, Scott Sutton and Brett Robisch. Others that have tentatively scheduled to attend are Melvin Sanders and Desmond Mason.
To make reservations, call the Cowboy Basketball Office at 405-744-5845 or the OSU Athletic Marketing department at 405-744-3067.
