Tracking the OSU Commitments

Each week during the football season we will compile the statistics from that week's games for each of the Cowboys' verbal commitments. Here is how the future Cowboys performed on Sept. 17 (or in some cases Sept. 16).

Bradley Barree, LB (6-0, 225, 4.6), DeSoto, TX
DeSoto (3-0) had a bye week before opening District 7-5A play against Arlington next Friday.

T.J. Bell, CB (5-11, 180, 4.38), DeSoto, TX
DeSoto (3-0) had a week off before opening District 7-5A play against Arlington next Friday.

Brady Bond, OL (6-6, 260, 5.0), Garber, OK
Waukomis handed third-ranked Class B Garber its first loss of the season 38-8.

Jeremy Broadway, WR (6-0, 185, 4.42), Houston (Washington), TX
Broadway had two catches for 125 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter, but it wasn't enough as Aldine defeated Washington 34-13. Washington turned the ball over three times (all fumbles) as Aldine scored 27 unanswered points in the second and third quarters.

Gremon Coffman, DB (6-1, 195, 4.4), Duncanville, TX
Duncanville, ranked No. 12 in the Dallas Morning News' Class 5A area rankings, improved its record to 2-1 with an impressive 37-6 victory over Mesquite. Duncanville held Mesquite to 162 total yards and 10 first downs.

Matt Fodge, K-P (6-0, 180, 4.8), Garland, TX
Fodge kicked a 37-yard field goal and four extra points as Garland (3-1) ended Dallas Carter's 24-game regular season winning streak with a 37-7 victory.

Noah Franklin, OL (6-4, 295, 5.1), Vinita, OK
Vinita, ranked No. 7 in Class 3A, defeated Grove 30-27 to improve to 3-0.

Chris Hall, OL (6-5, 280, 5.1), Irving, TX
Irving, No. 11 in the Dallas Morning News' rankings, improved to 2-1 with a 38-6 victory over Richland. Hall and the offensive line led the way as Jamaal Evans ran for 177 yards.

Chris Jones, TE-DE (6-5, 248), Lafayette (Carencro), LA
Carencro (1-1) was scheduled to play at Rummel in a marquee matchup between Class 5A schools on Thursday night, but the game was cancelled because of Hurricane Ivan.

T.J. Minor, DE (6-4, 240, 4.9), Houston (Westside), TX
Westside improved to 3-0 with a 35-0 victory over Conroe.

Brent Nickerson, DB (6-0, 180, 4.5), Irving (MacArthur), TX Nickereson had a 67-yard punt return for a touchdown to lead Irving MacArthur (3-0) to an easy 50-7 victory over Garland Lakeview. Irving MacArthur's offense accumulated 369 yards while its defense did not allow Garland Lakeview a first down until the fourth quarter. Lakeview, which turned the ball over five times, finished with 80 total yards and four first downs.

Josh Pinaire, DT (6-5, 290, 4.7), Hutchinson (Kans.) Community College, Derby, KS
Hutchinson, 3-0 and ranked 12th in the latest NJCAA poll, is scheduled to play host to No. 5 Coffeyville (3-0) Saturday night.

Eric Preast, LB (6-2, 215, 4.6), Sulphur, OK
Sulphur, ranked No. 1 in Class 3A, dominated from start to finish in defeating Dickson 58-6. The Bulldog defense, led by Preast, forced seven turnovers (six fumbles and an interception), and only allowed 183 total yards and seven first downs.

Andre Sexton, DB (6-1, 190, 4.38), Houston (Cypress Falls), TX
Cypress Falls (1-2) is scheduled to play at Langham Creek Saturday night.

Kevin White, RB (6-3, 208, 4.45), DeSoto, TX
White is hoping to take take advantage of a bye week to recover from a groin pull, which forced him to miss last week's game. DeSoto (3-0) opens District 7-5A play against Arlington next Friday.

Tevin Williams, WR (6-3, 215, 4.4), Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (Stillwater, OK)
Williams and the Norsemen, 2-1, are scheduled to play host to Trinity Valley at 7 p.m. tonight in Miami. In three games this season, Williams has six catches for 70 yards and one touchdown.

Willie Williams, DT (6-4, 303, 5.0), Hutchinson (Kans.) Community College, Dearing, GA
Hutchinson, 3-0 and ranked 12th in the latest NJCAA poll, is scheduled to play host to No. 5 Coffeyville (3-0) Saturday night.
