Tracking the OSU Commitments

Each week during the football season we will compile the statistics from that week's games for each of the Cowboys' verbal commitments. Here is how the future Cowboys performed the weekend of Oct. 8-9.

T.J. Bell, CB (5-11, 180, 4.38), DeSoto, TX
DeSoto (5-1) rolled to an easy 51-28 win over Arlington Sam Houston (0-6). Next, vs. Arlington Bowie, Friday, Oct. 15.

Brady Bond, OL (6-6, 260, 5.0), Garber, OK
Garber (4-2) defeated Oklahoma Bible 26-12. Next: at Cherokee, Friday, Oct. 15.

Jeremy Broadway, WR (6-0, 185, 4.42), Houston (Washington), TX
The Washington War Eagles (4-1) are scheduled to play at Houston Yates tonight (Saturday, Oct. 9). Next: vs. Wheatley, Friday, Oct. 15.

Gremon Coffman, DB (6-1, 195, 4.4), Duncanville, TX
Duncanville, ranked No. 9 in the Dallas Morning News' Class 5A area rankings, scored late in the fourth quarter to capture a 35-28 victory over Cedar Hill. Next: at Arlington Sam Houston, Friday, Oct. 15.

Matt Fodge, K-P (6-0, 180, 4.8), Garland, TX
Garland, ranked No. 4 in the Dallas Morning News' Class 5A area rankings, fell to 4-2 on the season with the 16-13 loss to South Garland. Fodge kicked one extra-point after touchdown and had another blocked. Next: vs. North Garland, Thursday, Oct. 14.

Noah Franklin, OL (6-4, 295, 5.1), Vinita, OK
Vinita (4-2) lost to Tulsa Cascia Hall 20-13. Next: at Inola, Friday, Oct. 15.

Chris Hall, OL (6-5, 280, 5.1), Irving, TX
Irving, despite outgaining Irving MacArthur 317-269, suffered a 27-20 loss to their crosstown rivals. Hall and his offensive linemates did the job, allowing Jamaal Evans to rush for 130 yards on 20 carries. Next: vs. South Grand Prairie, Thursday, Oct. 14.

Chris Jones, TE-DE (6-5, 248), Lafayette (Carencro), LA
Carencro (3-2) took advantage of three turnovers – scoring touchdowns via a short field after two of them – en route to a 21-7 District 3-5A victory over Acadiana. Jones and his defensive teammates limited Acadiana to 51 rushing yards and 97 yards total. Next: vs. Barbe, Friday, Oct. 15.

T.J. Minor, DE (6-4, 240, 4.9), Houston (Westside), TX
Westside (6-0) had its streak of consecutive shutouts stopped at three but still rolled to an easy 38-3 victory over Bellaire in District 21-5A play. Next: vs. Houston Madison, Saturday, Oct. 16.

Brent Nickerson, DB (6-0, 180, 4.5), Irving (MacArthur), TX
Irving MacArthur (6-0) remained undefeated with a 27-20 victory over crosstown rival Irving. Next: vs. Irving Nimitz, Friday, Oct. 15.

Josh Pinaire, DT (6-5, 290, 4.7), Hutchinson (Kans.) Community College, Derby, KS
Hutchinson (4-2) is scheduled to play at Dodge City (Kans.) tonight (Saturday, Oct. 9). Pinaire is seventh on the team in tackles with 35 (17 solo), including 10 for loss. He has been credited with three quarterback sacks and one fumble recovery. Next: vs. Garden City (Kans.), Saturday, Oct. 16.

Eric Preast, LB, (6-2, 215, 4.6), Sulphur, OK
Sulphur, ranked No. 1 in Class 2A, continued its dominance with a 53-14 victory over Plainview. Next: vs. Kingston, Friday, Oct. 15.

Andre Sexton, DB (6-1, 190, 4.38), Houston (Cypress Falls), TX
Cypress Falls (3-3) was scheduled to play Jersey Village tonight (Saturday, Oct. 9) in a District 17-5A matchup. Next: at Cyrpess Ridge, Saturday, Oct. 15.

Kevin White, RB (6-3, 208, 4.45), DeSoto, TX
White ran for 41 yards on 15 carries as DeSoto (5-1) easily deated Arlington Sam Houston 51-28.. Next: vs. Arlington Bowie, Friday, Oct. 15.

Tevin Williams, WR (6-3, 215, 4.4), Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (Stillwater, OK)
The Norsemen, 4-1, are scheduled to play Navarro (Texas) tonight (Saturday, Oct. 9) in Miami, Okla. Next: at Blinn, Texas, Saturday, Oct. 16.

Willie Williams, DT (6-4, 303, 5.0), Hutchinson (Kans.) Community College, Dearing, GA
Hutchinson (4-2) is scheduled to play at Dodge City (Kans.) tonight (Saturday, Oct. 9). Williams has 19 tackles (11 solo), including four for loss. He has one quarterback sack for minus-14 yards. Next: vs. Garden City (Kans.), Saturday, Oct. 16.
