Recruiting Update: Action Up For Tyrell Graham

Tyrell Graham, Houston Yates linebacker, is having a good time right now.

"We just came off a big win from last weekend," said Graham. "We beat our rival Houston Washington 56-9. Our defensive tackle playing against Reggie Youngblood had three sacks. I had my second best game. I don't know how many tackles I had, but I had a fumble recovery that I returned 68-yards for a touchdown."

Graham said that this week he and his Lions teammates have Houston Sterling on Friday.

As for recruiting that is picking up as the 6-3, 210 pounder shook hands with an LSU recruiter that came by the school today.

"I'm getting a lot of calls like from LSU, Utah, Arkansas, Iowa State, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and TCU," said Graham. "I don't have anybody on top right now. I'm going to set my visits in December the week after I take the SAT. At first I really liked Oklahoma State, but now for some reason I'm thinking Arkansas. I really like their program. I'm thinking either SEC or Big 12. It's competitive between Arkansas and Oklahoma State. I just need to visit both campuses and see which one I like best."

Graham is enthusiasitc when he talks about recruiting. You can tell he is truly excited about
