As I wrote in the matchups story the biggest key to winning this game is for Oklahoma State to be able to run the ball with a similar proficiency as the Cowboys have against their first five opponents. If they can do that then the entire offense opens up for them.
I believe that Oklahoma State's defense will do a solid job of containing the A&M offense. The Cowboys' speed should serve them well in defending A&M in open spaces. The constant zone blocking schemes that the Aggies employ nearly 90 percent of the time will allow the defensive line to use their quickness and not have to guess so much on how A&M is blocking the plays.
I also feel that punter Cole Farden, placements kicker Jason Ricks, coverage units, and the return game will give the Cowboys another advantage.
Happy Homecoming Cowboy fans.
