Tracking the OSU Commitments

Each week during the football season we will compile the statistics from that week's games for each of the Cowboys' verbal commitments. Here is how the future Cowboys performed the weekend of Oct. 22-23.

T.J. Bell, CB (5-11, 180, 4.38), DeSoto, TX
DeSoto (7-1) kept pace in the District 7-5A playoff race with a 34-18 victory over Arlington Martin. Next: vs. Cedar Hill, Friday, Oct. 29.

Brady Bond, OL (6-6, 260, 5.0), Garber, OK
Garber (5-3) suffered a 32-6 loss to No. 5 Class B Pioneer. Next: vs. Burns Flat-Dill City, Friday, Oct. 29.

Jeremy Broadway, WR (6-0, 185, 4.42), Houston (Washington), TX
Broadway scored on a 33-yard run as Washington (6-2) defeated Sterling 34-0 in a District 22-4A game. Broadway has 13 catches for 328 yards (a 25.2 yard average per catch) and two touchdowns on the season. Next: vs. Sharpstown, Saturday, Oct. 30.

Gremon Coffman, DB (6-1, 195, 4.4), Duncanville, TX
Duncanville scored in the final three minutes to capture a 26-21 victory over Arlington to improve to 7-1 on the season. Next: at Arlington Lamar, Friday, Oct. 29.

Matt Fodge, K-P (6-0, 180, 4.8), Garland, TX
Garland (6-2) scored touchdowns on three consecutive possessions in the first half en route to a 56-14 victory over Sachse (3-5) in a District 11-5A game. Next: vs. Rowlett, Friday, Oct. 29.

Noah Franklin, OL (6-4, 295, 5.1), Vinita, OK
Vinita (4-4) lost to Berryhill, ranked third in Class 3A, by the score of 34-13 in a District 3A-3 matchup. Next: at Dewey, Friday, Oct. 29.

Chris Hall, OL (6-5, 280, 5.1), Irving, TX
Irving (4-4) suffered a 44-28 loss to Euless Trinity. Hall and the Irving offensive line did the job up front, allowing Jamaal Evans to run for 205 yards and three touchdowns but it wasn't enough. Next: vs. Coppell, Thursday, Oct. 28.

Chris Jones, TE-DE (6-5, 248), Lafayette (Carencro), LA
Jones caught a 1-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter as Carencro (4-3) defeated New Iberia 48-6 on Friday night. Next: vs. Sulphur, Friday, Oct. 29

T.J. Minor, DE (6-4, 240, 4.9), Houston (Westside), TX
Westside (6-0) is looking to remain undefeated when it plays Chavez (4-2) tonight (Saturday, Oct. 23) in District 21-5A play. Next: at Lamar, Friday, Oct. 29.

Brent Nickerson, DB (6-0, 180, 4.5), Irving (MacArthur), TX
Irving MacArthur (8-0) remained undefeated with a 24-7 victory over South Grand Prairie. Next: vs. Grand Prairie, Friday, Oct. 29.

Josh Pinaire, DT (6-5, 290, 4.7), Hutchinson (Kans.) Community College, Derby, KS
Hutchinson (5-3) is scheduled to face Highland (2-6) on Sunday afternoon in a first round game of the Jayhawk Conference playoffs at Gowans Stadium in Hutchinson. Through eight games this season Pinaire is seventh on the team with 44 tackles (20 solo), including 14 for loss. He has been credited with three quarterback sacks and one fumble recovery.

Eric Preast, LB, (6-2, 215, 4.6), Sulphur, OK
Sulphur, ranked No. 1 in Class 2A, remained undefeated (8-0) with a 28-14 victory over No. 3 Davis (7-1). Sulphur's defense forced three turnovers (two interceptions and a fumble) as the Bulldogs scored twice in the final five minutes for the victory. Next: vs. Tishomingo, Friday, Oct. 29.

Andre Sexton, DB (6-1, 190, 4.38), Houston (Cypress Falls), TX
Cypress Falls (4-4) did not play this week. Sexton leads the team with three interceptions through the first eight games of the season. Next: at Tomball, Saturday, Oct. 30.

Kevin White, RB (6-3, 208, 4.45), DeSoto, TX
White rushed for 83 yards on 16 carries, including a 4-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, as DeSoto (7-1) defeated Arlington Martin 34-18. Next: vs. Cedar Hill, Friday, Oct. 29.

Tevin Williams, WR (6-3, 215, 4.4), Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (Stillwater, OK)
The Norsemen, 4-3, are scheduled to play Kilgore (Texas) today (Saturday, Oct. 23) in Miami, Okla. Next: at Tyler, Texas, Saturday, Oct. 30.

Willie Williams, DT (6-4, 303, 5.0), Hutchinson (Kans.) Community College, Dearing, GA
Hutchinson (5-3) is scheduled to face Highland (2-6) on Sunday afternoon in a first round game of the Jayhawk Conference playoffs at Gowans Stadium in Hutchinson. Williams had 22 tackles (12 solo), including five for 18 yards in losses, during the regular season. He was credited with one quarterback sack for minus-14 yards.

Marlin Winn, OT (6-6, 280), Waxahachie, TX
Waxahachie, ranked fourth in the Dallas Morning News' Class 4A area rankings, improved to 5-2 with a 49-7 victory over Alvarado in a game that was called with 8:39 left to play because of lightning. Next: at Everman, Friday, Oct. 29.
