This is the first time I've picked against OSU all season, but the trends are overwhelming in this game.
** OSU has beaten Texas only once since the start of the Big 12 and that was in Stillwater in 1997 against a John Mackovic coached team.
** Texas has won 18 games in a row at home.
** During its five-game losing streak to Oklahoma, Texas has lost only one other Big 12 game in the South and that was to Texas Tech two years ago.
That said, if OSU stays with Texas on the scoreboard, does a good job of containing the Texas run offense, runs the ball well themselves, hits a couple of big pass plays, and maybe gets a turnover or two, then the Cowboys can win. This team won't back off, but Texas is stout.
I see a low-scoring game with a big play needed at the end to either preserve a win or to pull ahead.
