Alief Hastings DT Vince Oghobaase -- Texas Hot 100 #3 -- tripped to Notre Dame this past weekend. We talk about that, plus he reveals the next lucky school to lock down one of the 6-6, 310-pounder's official visit slots. That leaves only two official visits remaining. Scout.com checks it out... First things first, the Bayou City 5-star DT took an unexpected trip to South Bend. His mother weighs in first...
"Notre Dame called about two-three weeks ago and wanted us to come up there on an unofficial visit," Vince's mother Florence Oghobaase said. "At first, they said they weren't going to be able to take any spring-term enrollees. But they said they wanted to take it before the academic board and thought they could work it out. So, out of respect for them, we wanted to go up and take an unofficial visit. I'll let Vince tell you about it."
"I thought it was a fun trip. But they're still not in my top group."
VO's top group of contenders remains (in alphabetical order): "Arizona, Duke, Miami, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M."
Just in, Oghobaase sets up his third official visit to the Duke Blue Devils for December 3rd.
With official visits to Oklahoma State (9/17), Duke (12/3) and Miami (12/10), that leaves A&M, Arizona and OU fighting for just two spots.
