"It was great," said McBean. "I really got along well with the players and the coaches. We ate up in the stadium and it was really nice. All the people are very friendly, and they definitely told me that they need help on the defensive line. I also liked seeing the basketball game and did they whip up on Washington State."
McBean was the biggest of the weekend visitors, of which there were nine.
"I think I was the only lineman there this weekend," said the 6-5, 280-pounder.
McBean is a little up in the air about his recruiting. He had plans to visit Ole Miss but the the coaching change came up. He is very interested in Arkansas and will likely visit there this coming weekend. He has interest in Southern Miss and A&M, but is on a short schedule as he finishes at Hinds this month and will be a mid-term transfer.
The bottom line is that Oklahoma State has a real chance on the native Texan that was All-Mississippi J.C. honoree this past season.
