Franklin is feeling fortunate these days that he is not rehabing an injured knee. He was injured toward the end of the season and the initial fear was that it might be a torn ACL, but it was not.
"I'm getting back to lifting and now I'm doing squats again and getting my strength back," said the 6-4, 290-pound offensive tackle prospect. "I was very fortunate. I'm committed to Oklahoma State, but just put the visit off until January."
