Recruiting: Chris Hall

Chris Hall, one of the top offensive linemen in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, in fact one of the best in all of Texas, is definitely committed to Oklahoma State and even helping out in the recruiting effort following his weekend visit to Oklahoma State. Irving's Hall changed his mind in July and committed to OSU after starting out in the spring as an SMU verbal pledge. The Halls made their visit to Stillwater this weekend.

"It was fantastic. We were real impressed," said Tim Hall, the father of the 6-5, 285-pound offensive tackle. "Chris is on board with the Cowboys."

The word was Hall was helping to recruit others in Stillwater for their visits and is also freely contacting other recruits in Texas to make sure they know how committed he is to Oklahoma State.

"He is one of influence," said his father. "I'd say he is a good recruiter in his own right. He's always been a leader on the teams he's played on and I really expect him to evolve into that at Oklahoma State too."
