We predicted that Oklahoma State, under the new staff of Mike Gundy, would take some different avenues in recruiting. This one is a former avenue being explored again.
The mother of Zach Robinson informed us that Zach and his parents will be traveling to Stillwater this weekend for an official visit.
"We are leaving around midday tomorrow (Friday) to head to Stillwater," said Mrs. Robinson. "You just missed Zach. He plays in a rec basketball league and has a game tonight."
Robinson, who played quarterback at Littleton Chatfield High School in Colorado, is a 6-3, 185-pounder with 4.5 speed and is looked at as a big wide receiver at the college level. He committed early in the recruiting process to Kansas State.
"He was in Oklahoma State camp this summer and really enjoyed it," added Mrs. Robinson. "He really liked coach Gundy who worked with him."
Robinson was at the longer three-day camp and did have a good camp in Stillwater, according to other campers.
