Last week, he took an official visit to Texas Tech. We talk to him about that as well as his planned official visits to Arkansas and Texas this weekend, not to mention his time frame for making a final decision…
"I really liked Texas Tech," said Hall of his Jan. 14 official visit to Lubbock. "There are a lot of similarities between Stillwater and Lubbock. My host was David Chatterton and we got along great. He's a real good guy."
Do the Red Raiders have a good shot? "Of course they do or I wouldn't have went up there," Hall said.
Texas Tech head coach Mike Leach made an in-home visit this past Monday and Hall said it went great.
Today, Hall headed to Fayetteville for a Thursday-Saturday (1/20-22) official visit.
"They've got a unique situation in that they have no pro teams in Arkansas, so the support there is great -- everything is all Razorbacks there."
Arkansas head coach Houston Nutt will make his in-home visit next week.
Sunday-Monday (1/23-24) has the 3-star OT from Irving, Texas in Austin checking out the Longhorns.
"Growing up all my life, I've been watching the University of Texas," Hall said. "And, I think I owe it to myself to see what they're all about."
Texas head coach Mack Brown will make his in-home visit next week.
What is his decision-time frame? "After I take my official visits to Arkansas and Texas, I should be able to make a decision sometime after that, probably sometime next week."
