"Michael Tate was my host," said Jones. "I had a great time. I'd give it a 7 or 8 out of 10. They have some awesome facilities there. The players are down to earth, and they made me feel like part of the team already. I just had a great time hanging out with the players."
Jones got to meet with the head man at Arkansas as well.
"I talked with coach (Houston) Nutt about how much they need running backs, and we talked about academics and the kind of student athlete they are looking for."
Jones squeezed in a mid-week visit to Tennessee last week as well.
"I visited Tennessee last week. I had a great visit there too. Robert Meachem was my host. I loved the University, and that's one big stadium. Just seeing that stadium was the highlight of my trip."
Where does Jones stand with his recruitment right now?
"It's a three team race between Arkansas, Tennessee, and Texas A&M. I'm thinking about taking a visit to Oklahoma State this weekend, but they haven't offered yet."
Jones will have several visitors this week as well.
"Texas A&M is supposed to come by the school this week. Coach Allen from Arkansas will be in the house this Tuesday. Coach Fulmer told me he was going to come and visit this week too."
"I didn't commit on my Arkansas visit."
