Future Cowboys in the Playoffs

Here are how four of the five high school players who signed in November to play at Oklahoma State next season fared during the playoffs Tuesday night. Remember, Gerald Green plays for Gulf Shores Academy in Houston (a private school) and is not eligible to compete in postseason play.

Kenneth Cooper, Richwood
Cooper had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds as the Richwood Rams defeated Booker T. Washington 71-47 in a Class 3A regional playoff game in Louisiana. Richwood improved to 32-8 with the victory.
Next: vs. Jennings in the Class 3A quarterfinals, Friday.

Byron Eaton, Lincoln
Eaton scored 10 of his team's points in an opening 15-0 run and Lincoln (26-6) never looked back en route to a 75-49 victory over Greenville in a Class 4A Region II quarterfinal playoff game. Eaton led Lincoln with 19 points and seven assists.
Next: vs. South Oak Cliff in a Region II semifinal at SMU's Moody Coliseum, Friday.

Roderick Flemings, DeSoto
Flemings scored a game-high 15 points, including five dunks, and had six rebounds as No. 1-ranked Class 5A DeSoto defeated Southlake Carroll 67-38 in a Class 5A Region I quarterfinal. DeSoto improved to 34-3 with the victory.
Next: vs. El Paso Montwood in a Region I semifinal at Abilene, Friday.

Terrel Harris, South Garland
Harris scored 22 points but it wasn't enough as Dallas Carter had four players score in double figures en route to a 74-62 victory in a Class 5A Region II quarterfinal game. Harris hit a three-pointer and teammate Trent Boone's tip-in pulled South Garland within 66-61 with a minute to play, but Dallas Carter hit 6 of 10 free throws down the stretch. South Garland finishes the season with a 26-5 record.
