Cowboys Slam Tigers

STILLWATER, Okla. - Adam Carr hit a walk-off grand slam homer in the bottom of the 15th inning to lead Oklahoma State to a 6-2 win over Big 12 leader Missouri Friday night at Reynolds Stadium.

Justin Colbert led off the 15th with a double into the right field corner and advanced to second on Ty Wright's sacrifice bunt. Missouri reliever Andrew Johnston (2-1) then intentionally walked Corey Brown and Trey Rachal to set up a force at every base before giving up Carr's homer on the first pitch.

Oklahoma State snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 25-14 on the year and 6-7 in Big 12 play, while Missouri fell to 27-7 overall and 8-2 in league action.

The Tigers took a 2-1 lead in the fourth on a RBI double by James Boone and a RBI infield single by Jacob Priday.

OSU tied it in the sixth on Ty Wright's solo homer to left off of Missouri ace Max Scherzer. The hard-throwing righthander allowed two runs on three hits in 7.2 innings of work with nine strikeouts and four walks in the no-decision.
