3, Greg Gold, RB
So., 5-9, 200, Irving, TX
Gold started the spring very strong by putting in extra time to learn the offense. He was so impressive in the first two weeks and the first scrimmage that head coach Mike Gundy identified him as a player that needed to play somewhere. For that reason the staff began experimenting with him as a slot receiver and he may have found a part-time home. Gold showed better quickness than he'd exhibited in the past and was very good at catching the ball.
