Player Analysis: Jerry Don Bray

Robert Allen provides analysis in the upcoming issue of Go Pokes Magazine of every OSU football player as they enter summer workouts. Throughout the summer we will be running Robert's analysis on Cowboy players.

81, Jerry Don Bray, DE
Sr., 6-5, 265, Chickasha, OK
In and out of the starting lineup most of last season, Bray should begin the fall with a chance to begin his senior season in the starting lineup. He seemed to embrace the schemes and played consistent throughout the spring. Then in the final scrimmage he gave himself a highlight and the coaches a reason to smile about him throughout the summer. Bray sat on a pass to the flat in a zone blitz and played it perfect as he intercepted the Donovan Woods pass and returned it 34 yards for a touchdown. His size makes him an effective pass rusher in that he keeps the passer from seeing downfield. He will play a lot in the fall.
