Brumbaugh Signs Agreement With OSU

STILLWATER, Okla. (www.okstate.com) — Keith Brumbaugh, named Florida's Mr. Basketball, has signed a Financial Aid Agreement with Oklahoma State, it was announced today. Brumbaugh, at 6-8 and 205 pounds, was a consensus top-15 player nationally, averaging 30.3 points, 12 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 3.6 steals per game his senior season at DeLand High School in DeLand, Fla. He was named a third-team Parade All-American.

A five-star recruit, Brumbaugh was rated the No. 14 player overall in the country. InsideHoops had him ranked as the No. 8 player overall in the class and the No. 2 small forward behind Gerald Green, also an OSU signee.

Brumbaugh participated in the 2004 USA Men's Youth Development Festival, and averaged 16.2 points and 8.4 rebounds in five starts. He scored 20 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, dished out six assists and had no turnovers in 33 minutes of play in the Gold Medal game. His USA South squad defeated the USA North, 140-123.

Brumbaugh joins an OSU class that has already been named the top recruiting class in the country. Following the loss of Green to the NBA, Brumbaugh will join four other freshmen that have all been ranked in the top 75 nationally, as well as three junior college All-Americans.
