Poke Practice Notes

Oklahoma State freshman offensive guard Andrew Lawrence out of Dallas, Ga., must have always picked up high marks in school for being on time. The offensive linemen arrives early for practice every day to get a little extra walk through work in, and we have yet to see any lineman beat Lawrence to the field. He is always first.

"That's something I've always tried to do," said the 6-4, 305-pound freshman. "I want to show everybody I'm eager and ready to get to work."

Lawrence has seen the rewards this week as he has seen several snaps with the first unit to get his feet wet and quite a few snaps with the second offense.

Nothing really has changed as offensive guard Caleb Noble again worked in the rehab group with a sore shoulder and he was joined by kicker Jason Ricks with the quad muscle injury.
