Cowboys Heading Back to Ponca City

Mother Nature just doesn't want to cooperate. The heavy rains on Sunday and Monday morning delayed work on the installation of the surface in Boone Pickens Stadium and drenched the new natural grass practice fields. As a result Oklahoma State has contacted Ponca City and have been given permission to use Sullins Stadium again through the rest of this week.

The hope is that it will only be needed for a day or two (Tuesday and Wednesday). Tuesday's practice for sure will take place in Ponca City. The closed practice will begin at 4:45 p.m. After Tuesday a daily evaluation of the practice fields in Stillwater will determine the practice site.
