Recruiting: Trent Williams Reschedules Visit

Longview (Texas) High School offensive lineman Trent Williams said he missed his scheduled visit this past weekend to Oklahoma State because some things came up. But he wasted little time in rescheduling the visit to one of the schools that is in his top three.

"Adrian Reese (Longview tight end) was there this weekend, but I had to reschedule and now I'm visiting OSU on Dec. 1," said the 6-4, 300-pound lineman who has helped Longview to a 4-0 start as they get ready to travel to play Mesquite this Friday. "We are playing well."

Williams said his top three are OSU, Texas A&M and LSU. He said he hasn't set a date on a visit to A&M, but he is going to LSU on Oct. 22.

"With LSU it's a lot like it is with Oklahoma State, I feel I can play there pretty quick," said Williams. "It's really the same with A&M too, but also it's in Texas."
,br> Williams has great size and quick feet along with big, strong hands. He could play either guard or tackle in college and is at his best when he is protecting the quarterback. Any school would be excited about a good fundamental pass blocker coming out of high school.
