OSU is No. 16 In Early Recruiting Rankings

Oklahoma State, bolstered by commitments from one five-star recruit, two four-star players and six three-star prospects, is ranked 16th in the Scout.com Team Recruiting Rankings, released today.

The Cowboys have 14 early commitments, including five-star recruit Michael Goodson of Klein Collins High School. The four-star recruits who have committed to first-year coach Mike Gundy are Houston Madison linebacker Donnell Williams and Irving MacArthur linebacker Justin Gent.

Also giving the Cowboys verbal commitments are three-star players Eric Norwood (North Cobb High, Kennesaw Ga.), Artrell Woods (Bryan, Texas), Jacob Secrest (Stillwater, Okla.), Patrick Lavine (Jersey Village High, Houston), Trent Perkins (Alice, Texas) and Adrian Hamilton (Carter High, Dallas).

In addition to being ranked 16th in the nation, Oklahoma State is fifth in the Big 12. The Cowboy recruiting class in ranked behind Texas (No. 1), Texas A&M (No. 10), Oklahoma (No. 11) and Texas Tech (No. 15). The rest of the Big 12 is as follows: Nebraska (No. 23), Iowa State (No. 46), Kansas State (tied for No. 47), Missouri (No. 50), Kansas (No. 55), Colorado (No. 57) and Baylor (tied for N o. 75).
