Recruiting: Adrian Reese Liked What He Saw

As we finish catching up with most of the high school prospects that came in for official visits on the weekend of the Cowboys win over Arkansas State we're finding out that it was a pretty successful weekend. Maybe not in commitments but it was successful as far as making sure prospects left with a favorable impression of the OSU program. Longview, Texas tight end Adrian Reese was one of those visitors who left feeling good about OSU.

"It went good. Everything was pretty nice," said Reese, who was taking his first official visit. "They have really nice facilities and the team is close. They are really tight. Tremaine Carroll was the player that showed me around, but I got to meet a lot of the players."

Reese said he will probably not take anymore visits during the football season as that was Longview's one and only open week. He said the other schools that he is considering are TCU, Mississippi State, Arkansas and Texas Tech.

The 6-6, 210-pound tight end runs a 4.7 and has seven receptions for close to 130 yards in four games.

"I had a touchdown catch last game but it was called back on a penalty," added Reese. "We are 4-0 and this week we start district play at Mesquite."

Reese is a very impressive looking athlete that is quickly rising on recruiting charts.
