Recruiting: Cowboys Pursuing Frank Harry

Frank Harry has a long list of suitors, and that's because the 6-4, 280-pound defensive tackle is in the mdist of a strong season in which he has helped Pearl River C.C. in Mississippi to the No. 10 ranking in junior college football. Pearl River lost its first game last Thursday and currently stands at 4-1 after getting a late start on the season following damage at the school from Hurricane Katrina.

"We had a late start, but we are playing good, and I think I am playing really good," said Harry. "The game this week with Mississippi Delta is a huge game to get us back going again."

Harry didn't have exact stats, but he did have a long list of schools including Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Southern Miss, TCU, Baylor and Louisiana-Lafayette. Harry is a native of Angie, La., but said he doesn't have to be close to home.

"I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for in a school yet," said Harry. "Oklahoma State is calling a lot and I have a visit set up for Kansas State on Dec. 9."

Harry, who will be ready to transfer after graduating in December, did say he wants to go someplace where he can play immediately. According to his coaches at Pearl River he has a good chance of making an All-American team this season, and is very capable of making the jump to Division I.
