Recruiting: Ugo Chinasa Enjoys Visit

One of the more intriguing visitors to Saturday night's Oklahoma State-Texas game was Richardson Berkner defensive end Ugo Chinasa. Chinasa says he has right around 10 sacks on the season and there is no doubt his defensive presence has helped Berkner become one of the teams to watch in the upcoming playoffs in Class 5A in Texas. Berkner is 9-0 with only Carrollton Creekview left in the regular season.

"I thought it was really a good game," Chinasa said of his visit to Stillwater and the game atmosphere for Saturday night's game. "I thought Oklahoma State had a lot of good young players and Texas is loaded with players."

Chinasa said he has an interest in both schools and mentioned that he has yet to set up any official visits. He was joined at the game Saturday night by Berkner teammates defensive tackle Adrian Campbell and tight end Wesley Scourten, who he said both have an interest in Oklahoma State.

Chinasa is a wanted man as the 6-6, 235-pound defensive end has legit 4.6 speed and is a very aggressive player.

"I'm looking at OSU and Texas and also OU, LSU, Alabama, (Texas) A&M and Baylor," said Chinasa.

He did say that Oklahoma State would probably get one of his five official visits. More than likely, judging from his attitude and excitement about the upcoming playoffs, all of his recruiting will take place after his senior season at Berkner is complete.
